EXPERIENCE

Boeing Electron Dynamic Devices. Torrance CA. November 2001 - present. Electric Propulsion Subsystems Engineer - Xenon Ion Propulsion Subsystem (XIPS). Conduct trade-off analysis and testing of proposed system improvements. Develop new requirements for system upgrades. Support non-recurring engineering and production. Advise and train customers and satellite operators.

Boeing Satellite Systems. El Segundo CA.May 2000 - November 2001. Systems Engineer - Xenon Ion Propulsion System. Coordinate component manufacturing and satellite integration. Investigate and resolve anomalies. Support system test and in orbit test. Assist in the development of ground support equipment. Present status to customers. Train future satellite operators.

NASA - Dryden Flight Research Center, Edwards AFB CA.
Co-op for the Flight Systems Branch. May - Aug 1999.
Co-op for the Controls and Dynamics Branch. Aug - Dec 1998.
Correct and update load analysis for X-38's B-52H pylon. Augment B-52H trim estimator software. Create an interface to transfer flight data to and from Dryden's UNIX servers to Matlab (Windows) and Excel. Develop a visualization tool in Matlab to evaluate recontact risk when launching research vehicles from NASA's B-52 aircraft.

Experienced with UNIX, Windows and Mac operative systems.
Work experience with C, Visual Basic, Matlab, HTML and Microsoft Office (including Frontpage, Access and SQL).

Fluent in written and spoken Spanish.
Beginning Russian.
Private pilot license since 1994 (Cessna). Instrument Rated. Currently obtaining commercial certificate.
